Helpful information:

STERLING SILVER - Silver is a naturally occuring metal. Pure silver is too soft for forming pieces so it is comined with another alloy (usually copper) to harden it making Sterling Silver which is 92.5% silver and 7.5% alloy. Sterling Silver is universally loved because with proper care it can last a lifetime. Over time silver will tarnish (or oxidize) but can be easily cleaned with liquid or paste silver polish or a polishing cloth.

GOLD PLATED - Gold plated jewelry consists of a base metal, covered with a layer of gold. The base metal can be steel, brass, copper, or even silver. The outer gold layer can be 10K, 12k, 14k, 18K, 22k or 24k. Heavy plated gold has a much thicker gold covering than regular gold plating.

GOLD FILL - Gold filled jewelry begins with a base of jewelers' brass. A layer of gold is wrapped around it and then heat and pressure are applied, which bond the brass and gold.

The gold layer must account for 1/20th of the total weight of gold filled jewelry.

VERMEIL - Vermeil is a type of gold electroplated jewelry with a base of sterling silver. The silver is covered with a layer of gold, no less than 10 karat, at least 2.5 microns thick. So it's gold over silver.

Tips for caring for your jewelry:

Store in a cool, dry place and avoid household cleaning products. Store each piece individually to avoid scratching. To help keep your pieces looking bright and shiny please remove jewelry before gardening, exercising, swimming, showering and sleeping.

FINDING BANGLE SIZE-Please note that bangle sizes are measured in inches of the diameter. This is to ensure the bangle will fit over the hand. To find the correct size, position your hand as if you are about to slip on a bangle. Then measure across the back of the knuckles. This should help you find the correct diameter.

Small - 2.25

Medium - 2.5

Large - 2.75

FINDING RING SIZE - The only sure fire way is to visit a local jeweler who will size you for free but I know that isn't always convenient so here is a great link that shows a few ways to find rings size yourself. I find the most accurate to be the string method.
